DDRIC celebrated NAIDOC Week by gathering together to share Damper and Kangaroo Stew.

Nyoongar Elder, Irene Stainton provided a Welcome to Country and talked about the significance of heritage places to her people.

The 2020 NAIDOC Week Theme – Always Was, Always Will be, pays tribute to and recognises that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are the world’s oldest living cultures.
