Holsworthy Barracks is an Australian Army military barracks, located approximately 25km from the Sydney CBD.

The scope of works of this project involved upgrading the base security infrastructure at Holsworthy Army Barracks front entrance in order to take the main entrance of Holsworthy to a
higher security standard and increase staff/user safety.

The scope included the replacement of security bollards, installation of new CCTV systems, access control, and intercom systems to the following structures:

  • Front gate main guard house.
  • Front gate entry lane hut.
  • Front gate entry lane hut.
  • Turnstile and swing gate.

Project HIGHLIGHTS

  • Custom designed bollards to accommodate security equipment, while maintaining same footprint as removed equipment, reducing downtime and disruption to the client.
  • Provided new double height visitor pass return bollard at exit lane to enable safe return of visitor passes from both cars and over height trucks without needing to leave vehicles, at no additional cost to the client.
