Wherever we work, we strive to engage and support the local community. We have made some small contributions that have made a big difference, including supporting local Indigenous businesses and sponsoring regional sports teams.
Katherine Junior Rugby League
The league consists of three clubs, Katherine Bushrangers, Katherine Cowboys and Katherine Raiders.
We’re very proud to sponsor the league with teams ranging from under 8s to under 18s. We are delighted that our contribution has meant the teams could continue the season after a few setbacks from COVID-19.
South Hedland Swans Football Club
The club is part of the North Pilbara Football League which was formed in 1977. The league is comprised of nine teams in and around Port Hedland and Karratha.
We have invested in the north-west WA community through the sponsorship of the football club and also through the creation of local employment opportunities as an Indigenous contractor for FMG.
