1st Combat Service Support Battalion Refurbishment

Robertson Barracks is a relatively new, purpose designed Army Base located approximately 20km east of Darwin city.

The scope includes:

■ Refurbishments to 13 buildings, including patching and repainting of internal surfaces, replacement of floor coverings and skirtings, bathroom
refurbishments and replacement of HVAC plant and equipment.

■ Reinstatement of a redundant Petroleum Operations Cleaning Facility so it will function as a fit-for-purpose, safe and compliant workspace to perform fuel bladder cleaning operations. The works include concrete remediation, new concrete works, replacement/upgrade of exiting equipment, provision of a new wastewater treatment system and new electrical works.

■ Re-vitalisation of an existing oval to maximise the achievable playing area within the existing grounds. The works include demolition of bitumen, footpath and light poles and construction of new playing field.
