Robertson Barracks is a major Australian Army base in the Northern Territory. Construction of the base commenced in the 1990s. For this project, DDR was engaged by Aurecon to provide refurbishment works to four Officers’ Accommodation buildings.
These refurbishment works were limited to the interior of the first floor of each building and consisted of the installation of new split system AC units, electrical & hydraulic fittings, painting, and replacing the flooring.
The removal of carpet flooring for tiled floors reduced the ability for mould to grow within the bedrooms, creating a cleaner living space.
